Royal visit to Silambi

It gave me immense pleasure and happiness to know that His Majesty the King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen have visited my village recently. The village is one of the remotest villages in the country. Recently, Their Majesties have visited such a remote village and granted audience and Kidu to the poor families.

I know and am confident that the people had lots of hope and expectations to have audience with Their Majesties. I am very much happy and satisfied that the poor people living in such a remote place could have an audience with Their Majesties and have been able to avail the Kidu. Their Majesties have granted Kidu for the families who are unable to meet their daily expenditures and for those who had very less ancestral land. The team has also provided the mobile medical services for the people which has immensely benefited.

I know that it would have been very difficult journey for Their Majesties and the team to ply over the rough and muddy farm road. Moreover, it would have been a tough journey to walk towards the steep sloped villages. However, keeping all these difficulties aside and for the beneficial of Their people, Their Majesties visited the remotest village. Therefore, I on behalf of myself and on behalf of the poor people in Silambi would like to extend our warmest and heartiest gratitude and thankfulness to Their Majesties and the team for making the visit and granting Kidu for the people. Despite every difficulties and the challenges, the People's King always has a mind to solve every grievance of the people and  works day and night to fulfill His dream. Visiting my remote village by Their Majesties will be one of the unforgettable moments for the people of Silambi.

LONG LIVE THEIR MAJESTIES - Prayers from people of Silambi

Karma has brought me to RIM

Life has always been unpredictable for many of us. We can not say what will happen the next. Some say and believe that our future depends on our previous deeds. Some argue that it purely depends upon one's mindset to make our own future. But I feel it purely depends upon our Karma. All the sentient beings follow their own cycles in the circle of individual Karma.

I had so much hope and expectations to be an engineer or a lawyer when I was in my higher secondary school. However, my class twelve examination has not favored me an opportunity for acquiring an Ex-country scholarship. Really upset and my dreams has got torn apart. Nevertheless, I kept trying, I applied for In-country scholarship and got an opportunity to study in Royal Thimphu College.

After spending three years of life there in Royal Thimphu College, I am now in Royal Institute of Management pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration. I say the journey of my life to be Karmic because Karma has brought me here in RIM. The course here seems totally irrelevant to my degree major- Bachelor in Computer Applications. I am thoroughly worried that I may not be able to live up to the hope and expectations that Royal Civil Service Commission, Royal Government of Bhutan and my relatives have bestowed upon me.

However with the help of the well experienced lecturers and very intellectually grown up friends, I will strive myself to live up to everyone's expectations. I will not forget my life philosophy that is " to be the best and always strive for that only. Moreover,  to help others in my own small ways so that i may be important and remembered in the little ways." The eight days of orientations here in RIM is really giving me an insight of the institute and the course structure. The new academic policy which is equivalent to the other world universities will also be experienced by the us, I feel really fortunate for that too.

Although the facilities here in RIM seem quite inferior to my previous college facilities, however I will not compromise my hard work in my primary objective. I promise to my King, Country and people of Bhutan that I will work very hard in the institute and I will be back after a year to serve with utmost loyalty and dedications.

Life in and after the college

It was always full of fun. Life was full of joys. Sometimes life seemed to be full of hardships, agonies, pains during my three years of stay in Royal Thimphu College. I always had a desire to write about this aforementioned topic, yet due to the lack of internet facilities I was unable to post it on my blog. While in the college it was always a fun when a lecturer was absent for a class, it was full of joy when we had a time to chat and play games in the computer labs. On the other hand I always loved to engage myself in social service-related works.

During my stay in the college I volunteered to work as a Teaching Assistant. I taught my friends in second year. I was there to discuss the PHP class with them. It gave me immense experience and learned a lot from them.

On the other hand I also volunteered to teach and organize RCSC preparatory classes for the ones aspiring to appear the Bhutan Civil Service Preliminary Examinations. I learned so much from the RCSC course. With that experience and practice i could crack the preliminary exam with ease. In this regard I have so much hope and expectations that my friends those who attended the classes have done well cracked the prelims with ease.

I also worked as the Residence Assistant. I was selected to be a student leader for Tsenden Residence of the college. I had an opportunity to work closely with the student body and the management of the college. I got so many experiences being the Residence Assistant.

Now it has been almost two months that I walked through the beautiful stage of Royal Thimphu College and graduated on 4th July, 2013. Life seems to be tough and challenging after the college. I have to compete with so many other graduates in this tight and competitive job market. Yet I try myself to compete with anyone with my strong courage. I work very hard to cross anything that comes my way. I make sure not to fail in any grounds. Be it in any written exams or interviews I make sure to impress the employers, even if I am not selected. I compete in any fields in which some posts may not be relevant to my degree.

I work hard keeping in my that I have to keep and upgrade the name and fame of my college that gave me a degree. I wanna create better opportunities for my future colleagues. When I say these things, I am not here to boost myself but I wanna encourage my friends to work hard and compete with other graduates.

I HOPE ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DOING WELL!!!

Why Royal Thimphu College?

We all know that Royal Thimphu College is the only one and the first private college in the land of thunder dragon. Nevertheless, I find there are so much to be learned from the young emerging college which strives in inspiring the education in the country. Moreover it always works inclined with its its vision i.e “Royal Thimphu College seeks to become an institution of academic excellence that sets inspiring standards for education by challenging its students to achieve their full potential and to become independent life-long learners who are well-rounded, responsible citizens.” which is the most inspiring vision for its students, faculties and the management.

For me, I had got an opportunity to go to Sherabtse College (Government College located at Kanglung in Trashigang) for my higher studies. In the meantime there was an scholarship announcement for 20 students in RTC. I was then on the fence; Sherabtse or RTC? Government College or Private College? Thimphu or Trashigang? East or West? Then I called my Advisor Mr. Shankar Lal Dahal (Principal of my previous school). He said ” you can join any college you love to join, ultimately if you do well, that’s it.” So, after discussing with my families I planned to join Royal Thimphu College. I went to put my application in the Department of Adult and Higher Education, Ministry of Education. Later we were all called for interview. After that we were selected.

Then August 5, 2010 we joined the first day in the college. Then the beauty and the quality of college started to bestow upon u. We had three days Orientation on college life, rules and regulations, facilities and many more. During the night there were always film screening, cultural live shows whereby we felt as if like in our own homes. Then August 8, 2010 started the first class of my higher education. All lecturers were highly qualified, moreover all of them were enthusiast and love their teaching profession. All professors were experienced who were the lecturers in Sherabtse College for almost not less than 8 years. Some of them were from India, USA and other parts of world who were too professionals and experts in teaching profession.

Auditorium

Moreover the infrastructure of the college and the facilities provided were more than expected when compared to any colleges in the country. There is nicely furnished residence rooms, toilets and bathroom. The presence of geysers in toilets and Television in every common room is all residence halls is the most remarkable facilities that all residence students enjoy. The canteen and the mini-mart also provides all necessary food items to eat and required stationery for the students.
Academic Block

The big and spacious MPH which is used as the basketball court, volleyball court and badminton court is also the best one in the country. The college has also got one of the biggest auditoriums in the country which can accommodate all its students in it.

How a wife should treat her husband??

Marriage is just once in our precious life time. But I find most of the modern people take an advantage of it. They divorce any time they like to. So, I don’t want to be in any such condition. I think the main reason for such divorce is that any one of the two or both are not satisfied with the other. So, it is extremely important for a wife to understand about her husband and same in case of a husband. Both must know how and when to make the life happy and enjoyable. So, here I wanted to share how should my wife treat me. But I don’t mean to say that only she must treat me in such condition, I will never fail to do my share to her. One thing I must apologize my readers: It is not that only a girl must do it for her wife but a husband must do the same if not better for her wife.

The marriage should be maturely treated and kindness should be shown at all times. No disrespect to each other in public or to family members or friends. Wife must not treat her wife like a money bag , or a sex toy , or a garbage bin full of pain and mistreatment. Instead she must treat him as a source of happiness and joy.

Both should mold each other and grow in love. Honor each other. Create a trusting relationship. Always take the others’ feelings into consideration in everything you do. Be open and communicate in every situation, from the smallest of things to the biggest. Be faithful. Husband will never accept if a wife talks something and does something different. It is same in the case of a husband towards the wife.

A wife must do whatever she can do to make him look good, to accomplish his goals. Some examples are offer to run errands for him, organize her day to be available to help him with his projects, pray for him and make good suggestions. Give him the freedom not to use your suggestion, and do not be offended if he does not follow it.

A good wife must know that her husband is sensitive about her honoring him as a man. A good wife must also let her husband know that she loves him by kissing him, hugging him, holding his hand, and making him chicken soup when he is sick, because we all know when a man is sick he loves to be pampered. Love your husband the way you wanted him to treat you.

HAPPY MARRIAGE

Bhutan Civil Service Examinations

Bhutan is a small and the most happiest country in this world. It is the country land locked between two gigantic countries: China to the North and India to the South. Happy and fortunate to be born in this beautiful and peaceful country of mine, yet employ-ability is yet another concern of mine when I am nearing towards receiving my Bachelor certificate. The policy of Royal Civil Service Commission is to have compact, competent and dedicated civil service. The number of graduates passing out every year from different universities increase drastically. Eventually, with no other options left for RCSC to select the best candidate for the civil service, they conduct BCSE.

Needless to say, I have to sit for the same in this August. For good or bad, for right or wrong, this is the time and opportunity for graduates to prove themselves. In case of me, BCSE strikes through my mind each and every fractions of second. I too have to face the biggest obstacle in my life. I have been going through so many obstacles where I could challenge all. This August is the most challenging and the most important battle that i have to fight for my life.

Preliminary Examinations will tackle all most 50% of the graduates in the first round of the war. Later, the stronger ones will go for the second round of the battle. I worry every day and night about at which round will i reach. Nevertheless, I am not that pessimistic to get afraid of it. I know this is what life is actually all about. I know all are facing it. I know if i don’t get through that is not the end as it may be happening for the good cause. I know god is always there for me.

I write this in my blog, not to show that I am afraid of BCSE but to remind all those graduates to be prepared in advance so that you will enjoy the sweet fruit in your whole life. I say this because government is the only employer in Bhutan which provides the most secured jobs. You may be highly paid in private companies but i feel there is no security in private companies of Bhutan. Therefore, all the best for all the graduate who inspire to sit for BCSE, 2013.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

My beautiful GIRL

Hello my precious girl, now in this very special day for you, I want to write and dedicate this letter from my core of heart…. better not say it. As I woke up yesterday thinking of you with the greatest desire to be the first to greet you HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE!

Yesterday I saw the sky burst forth and filled my soul to be an exceptional day, now look like the paintings of the sun melt and portray your name here on the shores of my heart, this heart that beats to remember the caresses your lips and puffy clouds embrace my skin. Also observe how gradually dyed blue and gray in one color, one soul, in one sense, to the heavenly hosts a brigade dealer covering my love for you.

It seems clear that only my love for you live, breathe only for you, right? But my lovely Angel, that alone is not enough to tell you you’re everything to me, I need to tell you you’re the reason I’m happy, are the reason that makes me smile and dream of a tomorrow where your hand this merged mine and walk through valleys and mountains watching our love grow this beyond all dreams, for you my beautiful warbler that my dream is to remain always at your side.

At your side my love, where I finally found my peace, my calm, my happiness, my queen beside you where the most beautiful sounds are combined into one, is when your voice dry my wet lips and feel breathing again, I feel like a gust of fresh wind and flood my airs live, live my queen, I live because I found you, because you have to turn my life hope and make it a reality. Every time I plunge into the serenity of your eyes gives me always the infinite ocean of color guards behind those beautiful eyes my queen, because without you I can never look and live, you are my sun and my sea latent, are the lake where the moon reflects and makes my night favorite place to fall and give in to you.

I love how much more if you get to love everything my love? If only you knew that every morning I think to myself it was conquered again and again for the memories I have of you, my love memories to this day are the most beautiful that I cherish in my heart. Give me time and again kisses bring me and lead me into this beautiful world where the moon light escaping through your smile, give me time and again that look at where we combine the love and peace, my happiness, where you keep all this my eternal love for you!

You’re the most beautiful of all the flowers start to bloom the petals full of life, full of love. They are the symbol of a beautiful woman whose birthday is today and I thank God because he allowed one of the most beautiful flowers to born on 2nd February, 22 years ago.
